This Kharta Valley Trek goes to a unseen part of Everest, the eastern face known as Khangsung face. The trek includes extended days however the sights are really worth every work. A stop by at the famous North platform camp of Everest is another focus on of the trip. The path moves through alpine meadows, forests filled up with wildflowers, glaciated valleys, high mountain passes, traditional Tibetan villages, Tibetan nomadic land, rich barley fields, historic monasteries, picturesque yak pastures, emerald green lakes and a great many other captivating sights.

Packed with magnificent Himalayan mountain range views, and many scenic unexplored valleys, high glacial lakes and beautiful alpine flowers - nothing in Tibet is as stunning as this trek to Kharta valley. Like all the treks in Tibet, it is strenuous, involves high passes and needs careful acclimatization but everyone with good fitness can complete this trek. The best point upon this trek is the Langma La Go [5,320 m], that provides stunning views of Makalu, Everest, Lhotse lhotse and Shar. The valleys and ridges below the snowline are protected with lawn and solid vegetation nurtured by the monsoon richly. During summer, the magnificent grassland flowers are in bloom in the remote Kangshung valley, which is a stunning view for every spectator.

Full day guided Kathmandu sightseeing and visit to world-famous UNISCO heritage sites.

Kathmandu to Nyalam [3780m] via Nepal china boarder

Acclimatization day and sightseeing

10 hours mountain drive to Kharta village

Further trek continues to Lundrubling
Day – 7
Trekkers will cross Shao La pass [4970 m] and continue strek to Kaamo tsangpo valley

Journey continues to Khangsung valley

We will reach Pethang Ringmo today
Day – 10
From Pethang Ringmo to Hopp – Trek continues
Day – 11
We will reach Kangshung base camp & return to Hoppo after sightseeing

Reach to Base of Langma La
Day – 13
Trekkers will cross Langma La (5330m) o n13th day and continue their journey to Lundrubling

We will reach Kharta

Drive from Kharta to Rongbuk
